While planning for a trip in Vietnam, you may question about where to stay or what facilities are available. To have the best experience and save your time, you can check some of our suggestions below:

1. Hotels:

Vietnam is famous for many tourist attractions around the country and there are many choices of hotels and resorts there, from 3-star to 5-star hotels, from boutique and local brands to famous international chain properties.

Most mid-range to top-end hotels in Vietnam will provide you with: Air conditioning, hot water, mini fridge, television, telephone,…

A 3-star hotel may cost you from US $25 to $50 a night with breakfast included. 5-star hotels are available in big cities such as Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city. You need to pay on average US $100 a night and expect the best facilities: on-site restaurants, bars and various dining options,… These prices are for a double room

2. Resorts:

With a long coastline and a handful of renowned island destinations, travelers in Vietnam can think about luxury beach resorts in big cities like Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang,… Apart from necessary facilities, staying at a resort can give you the best experience with pools, beach, children activities, steam room, fitness center with gym,…

There’s a wide range of prices from US $50 to US $250 (double room per night) and even more for top-end resorts.

3. Motels

If you prefer a more affordable type of accommodation, motels can be a good option.
Motels (Nha nghi) are very affordable and common even in the countryside in Vietnam. The prices are cheap (around US $8 for double room), you can expect that only standard facilities are offered and English-speaking staff might not be available.

4. Hostels:

Hostels are great options for backpackers. You can easily find a hostel in several big cities and tourist attractions such as Ho Chi Minh city, Hue or Da Nang.

Tourists are offered a clean bed, shower, private luggage storage locker and a big entertaining area. Hostels in Vietnam offer a person a rate of about US $5 per night.

5. Tips to search and make an accommodation reservation for your trip:
