• Updated April 11, 2024

Climate change has been the world’s most pressing issue in recent years, and Vietnam is among the ten most vulnerable nations to its impacts according to many international reports. The Mekong Delta is the country’s largest area of rice, fruits and fishery production. It’s also the area which has been affected the most by sea-level rise, making life a lot harder for the people and threatening the region’s stability. This faculty-led program is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of what impacts climate change has brought to the region and how resilient and innovative local people are to deal with them to protect their own and future generations’ livelihood.
