• The main responsibility of this post is to assist Forestry sector of SRD in:
• Supporting SRD’s POs in implementing ongoing project activities on site such as writing field reports/articles for posting on SRD’s website; in collecting and compiling good lessons learned for documentation and dissemination; in providing ideas for communication activities; in developing a form for monitoring/updating project activities, taking pictures, etc;
• Supporting SRD’s POs in developing new projects on the field of forestry and climate change, forest restoration, and forest rehabilitation as well as combating land degradation in North West of Vietnam;
• Supporting SRD to develop the forest monitoring program by using satellite images.
• Supporting SRD in developing Agro-Forestry models, if possible, participating in the development of the field models as a demonstration model
• Training local farmers to cultivate some special species with high economic value.
